Annual Christmas Light Show

Hey Austin, please come and join us to celebrate our Mozart's Annual Christmas Light Show.  This year's show is bigger, better and *brighter* than ever!  

2020 brought us the COVID Cautious Christmas Light Show where we ensured all our guests had appropriate social distancing through securing reserved tables in advance.  This was a break from our traditional "festival" format - of: "come one, come all ... anytime".  It was a hit!  We received great feedback on that format - so, the reserved tables are back for the 2021 Mozart's Light Show!.  
For Reserved Tickets - you can select your day, your time, and your table location to enjoy ATX's most famous holiday tradition.  As this format sells out (because it will!) we have made the best of both worlds with the return of our festival-style Bavarian marketplace. This standing-room only format will accommodate our "come one, come all ... anytime" guests through General Admission tickets which can also be reserved in advance or at the Show.  These tickets are our free gift to the community and are located in the elevated parking lot directly up our stairs from our deck above all of the reserved tables.

Reserved Table Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: Why does it say there's availability but when I click on it, no tables show up?
    • A: The availability calendar may have a slight lag from real-time availability, especially during peak use. We're sorry for the inconvience and thank you for your patience!  
  • Q: How long can I stay?
    • A:Your ticket reserves your table for an hour-long timeslot, indicated on your ticket. If you want to enjoy the Bavarian Marketplace after your viewing is complete, you can stay as long as you’d like.
  • Q: What should I do when I arrive?
    • A: Upon arrival you will be greeted by our Mozart’s staff who will check your ticket and escort you in and out of the event at the beginning and end of your reserved 1 hour time slot.
  • Q: How much are table reservations?
    • A: 4-person tables are $20 and 6-person tables are $30. (Fees apply. Some select 4-person tables are standing-only, indicated on our seating chart map.)
  • Q: Is there a limit to how many tables I can reserve?
    • A: If you have a large group and need more than 4 tables, please contact our team for help at lightshow@mozartscoffee.com. (Our team is available M-F, 9-5, and you can expect a response within 36 hours of contact.)
  • Q: Do infants count toward my 4-person, or 6-person table max?
    • A: Infants 18 months or above will count towards your party.
  • Q: Why are only certain dates and times showing up?
    • A: Sold out dates and time slots will not show up on the calendar or in the timeslot drop down.
  • Q: Can I add extra chairs to my table, or request extra chairs for my table?
    • A: No - we are controlling the capacity of this event for pandemic safety and you will not be allowed to add chairs to your table, nor will we be providing extra chairs.
  • Q: Can I bring extra people if they stand?
    • A:No - each table reservation only allows up to 4 people or 6 people, as indicated by the table type. 
  • Q: Can I request chairs for my standing, high top table?
    • A: No, unfortunately we cannot provide chairs for the standing, high top tables.
  • Q: Can I change my date or time after booking?
    • A: If you need to make changes to your ticket, we can assist with canceling your original reservation and rebooking something new, but keep in mind these tickets are non-refundable and we will not be able to refund your original ticket, even if you cancel it. 
  • Q: Who can I contact with questions? Can I call the Mozart's Cafe?
    • A: If you have questions about your existing ticket, contact support through the support link at the bottom of your ShowClix receipt email. Otherwise, contact our team at lightshow@mozartscoffee.com. (Our team is available M-F, 9-5, and you can expect a response within 36 hours of contact.)
  • Q: Can I reserve my ticket over the phone?
    • A: No we cannot process ticket orders and reservations over the phone. Order tickets online at this link instead.
  • Q: Which seats are ADA accessible?
    • A: Below is a map of the ADA accessible region of our property.
  • Q: I see the table I want, but it won't let me click on it!
    • A: If the table appears gray on the seating chart map, that means it's sold out! Sorry about that!
  • Q: Can I bring food or extra camping chairs with me?
    • A: No outside food, drink or chairs are allowed.
  • Q: Can we be seated before our whole party arrives?
    • A: No, your entire party must be present in order to be seated.
  • Q: Oh no I didn't order food in advance! Can I still get food at the event?
    • A: If you missed your chance to add food to your ticket at the time of purchasing, don’t worry, the Bavarian Marketplace on property has plenty of food to order on-stie, once you arrive. 
  • Q: What can I expect with parking?
    • Parking is available across from Mozart’s on the opposite side of Lake Austin Boulevard. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation time to get checked in. We will not seat incomplete parties. (Parties are considered complete when all ticketed members are present - you do not need to fill the whole table.)
  • Q: Are tickets refundable?
    • A: No - our show goes on rain or shine, and all sales are final and nonrefundable. However if you have an emergency you'd like to discuss with our customer service team, contact us at lightshow@mozartscoffee.com. (Our team is available M-F, 9-5, and you can expect a response within 36 hours of contact.)
  • Q: Can I bring my dogs?
    • A: You can bring one dog per table reservation (not one dog per person. Sorry doggos!)

  • Q: How long can I stay?
    • A: Your registration allows you access to the Bavarian Marketplace for either a 6-9 timeslot or a 9-Midnight timeslot.
  • Q: What should I do when I arrive?
    • A: Upon arrival feel free to visit the booths in the Bavarian Marketplace. You may be asked to show confirmation of your registration, so please bring your mobile or printed registration confirmation.
  • Q: How much does standing group registration cost?
    • A: Admission to the Bavarian Marketplace standing group is free, but limited in capacity, so you are required to register. You can do this by selecting a date and timeslot on this page. 
  • Q: Is there a limit to how many people I can register?
    • A: Registration is limited to 7 people or less per group.
  • Q: Do infants count toward my group?
    • A: Infants 18 months or above will count towards your group.
  • Q: Why are only certain dates and times showing up?
    • A: Fully booked time slots will not show up on the calendar or in the timeslot drop down.
  • Q: Can I change my date or time after booking?
    • A: No. All sales are final - please make sure you are selecting the exact date, time, and table you'd like before completing your purchase.
