New Emergency Orders by Austin-Travis County Health Department
November 11, 2020 - Dr. Mark Escott, the Interim Medical Director & Health Authority for the Austin-Travis County Health Department in conjunction with Mayor Adler from the City of Austin has issued new emergency precautionary orders related to health and safety procedures now required for COVID-19 through December 31, 2020.

Emergency rules have been extended by Dr Escott to promote health and safety.  They can be summarized as:
  • Face coverings must be worn in a manner that covers the nose and mouth by all citizens in public;
  • Social distancing of 6 feet must be observed;
  • Individual groups/tables and/or gatherings of people are limited to 10 or less in venues or public settings;
  • If a member of a household is positive or waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test, the entire household should isolate.

Mozart's 2020 COVID Cautious Christmas Light Show observes and requires each our attendee's acknowledgement of these procedures.  Mozart's remains committed to keeping its employees and the Austin community safe during the holiday season.  The organization of the 2020 COVID Cautious Christmas Light Show strictly enforces the mask and social distancing mandate in every aspect of the operation.  We invite the community to come out and enjoy our Light Show, safely.
