COVID Update, September 21st, 2020

On Monday, September 21st - the State of Texas, per Governor Abbott's new decree (full transcript and coverage here), will allow Cafes and restaurants to operate at 75% capacity.  The move from 50% currently in place to the new permission for 75% is based on what the Governor's office sees as a declining trend in hospitalizations along with a reduction in positivity rates connected with testing.

While Mozart's maintains its seating outside, in covered and non-covered exterior areas, the % requirements are not applicable to such "outside" seating.  Regardless, Mozart's believes it is a privilege to be open and we believe it is prudent to maintain the same distancing mandated by the Governor's office for interior areas in these settings as well.  We are doing so as a means of being proactively cautious for all our patrons, customers and employees.
