Five places for tea with your little ones

Mozart’s Coffee Roasters (3828 Lake Austin Blvd. 477-2900, www.mozartscoffee.com): This is primarily a coffee shop, and a good one at that.

But what kid could resist sitting in a late afternoon sun with ginger peach tea ($2.54) and a chocolate-raspberry eclair ($2.54) on a deck by the lake, serenaded by hungry ducks?

Plus, through Dec. 31, Mozart’s is putting on a free five-minute holiday light-and-music display. Shows run on the hour starting at 6 p.m. through midnight. Open 7 a.m. to midnight Mondays – Thursday, 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays, 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to midnight Sundays.

Tea time could be eating a cannoli with chocolate chips, coffee cake or a raspberry eclair at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters.

Fox News anchor Mike Warren interviews Katrine Formby live at the Deck of Lights display at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters. Fox News news crew came out to film the Christmas lights and synchronized music show that can be seen ever night from now until the end of the year. The show is free and show times are at the top of each hour starting at 6 p.m. with the last show starting at midnight. The musical show is five minutes long, but you can sit under the lights on the deck for hours and enjoy the view on Lake Austin.
